• Ivy Substation redevelopment is completed
• President Clinton visits Culver City at Carlson Park
• Yanji City, China becomes a Sister City
1994 - January 17 Northridge earthquake also damages many Culver City
historic buildings and residences
1995 - New City Hall opens at 9770 Culver Boulevard – an important redevelopment project
1997 - City celebrates its 80th anniversary and televises its first Council meeting
1998 - King Fahad Mosque opens
1999 - St. Augustine Church celebrates its 75th anniversary as a parish
