Before construction of the gelatin castle began, the digital team did their research by filling a bathtub with real Jell-O™ to study bounce, translucency, refraction, transmission, and other light properties of the gelatinous substance. This clip shows the many layers and lighting elements that had to be digitally orchestrated to ensure this scene was as authentic and delicious as it was intended to be.
